Abominable Apparel x Rws Skate x A Very Nice Design Studio Charity Skateboard Deck

Before getting into breakdancing, I used to skate back in middle school and for a part of high school. Although I was never really good at it, I did enjoy it a lot. I made new friends, tested my own physical limits and had something to invest in as a kid. When the skatepark first opened in my hometown, I was ecstatic beyond belief. No more harassment from cops and finally a place to hone one's skills among like-minded people.

The skatepark has long since closed and I've personally moved on to breakdancing, but skating and skate culture are still very much alive. Kids out there need safe places to skate, but money is sometimes a deal-breaker when it comes to opening up a skate-park in a town. Other times, city officials don't care where kids skate and would rather allocate the money elsewhere.

To solve these issues, Abominable Apparel, Skate Rws, and A Very Nice design studio has gotten together to design a charity fund-raiser skateboard deck. Over 50% of the profits from the deck will go toward funding skateparks. Currently, the focus of this project is on Watts, CA, but with your help, we can fund many other skateparks across California and maybe even the nation someday.

If you're in the market for a new skateboard deck and want to help out a great cause benefiting fellow skaters, check out the deck on eBay.
